Snap peas and beets are coming up in one of my Earth Boxes. This always gives me a little "springtime" thrill - even when it happens in December.
A nasturtium showing its pretty little face although it's suffering only a couple of hours of sunlight at the moment. These usually bloom all the way through May for me, though. Good value for a packet of seeds!
And here's the cluster of Brugmansia 'Milk 'n Honey' that I showed above, all open now. It's barely visible but the "honey" color is just starting to seep down into the bell. I was taking flash pics last night so I could enjoy the scent.
Also harvested two kinds of peppers, two of tomatoes and some broccoli for a frittata yesterday morning. Mmm. The hot peppers in the bowl came from the school garden - we had to remove the (donated, anonymous) plants when we realized what we had, so that no child would get a bite of hot pepper inadvertently. My DH loves them, and I gave away handfuls to a bunch of teachers at school as well.
