I agree with you! Not babysitting plants.

I have no Raoulia,
but I do have sunny, gritty, well-drained places that I cannot keep even remotely moist and epic sadness because I keep killing precious plants in the summer

Yay! Great pictures, too! Mine didn't grow out this spring, but I still have seeds to try again later.

Pterocephalus depressus had buds when we left town several days ago, so it might be blooming now. I'll have to wait till morning light to see if it is. I can hardly wait!

Stachys lavendulifolia (sp?) started from seed is blooming for the first time , and I've noticed many, many self sown lavender plants as well. The rock garden is looking pretty good right now.
