I did, I did! And it makes me feel optimistic that spring is not that far off. :)

I've ordered...

'Rainbow's End'
'Alex Summers'

And I already have (thanks to Land of the Giants Hosta Farm selling at the Wisconsin Garden Expo this weekend)...

'Chain Lightning'
'London Fog'

I can't wait until it's time to plant them. I sense another new bed in the front yard, plus another bed revamp for the small existing bed along the fence. It's fun to tackle those things in spring when I'm full of ambition. Thumbs up

Here's a look at 'Golden Tiara' emerging last year to remind us of what we have to look forward to.

Thumb of 2011-02-13/kaylyred/a8a4b9

How about some glorious bleeding hearts?

Thumb of 2011-02-13/kaylyred/0e6a39

And here's 'Krossa Regal' making its appearance.

Thumb of 2011-02-13/kaylyred/5cadd2

And 'Frances Williams'...I seem to have photos of all the old school hostas from last year. ;)

Thumb of 2011-02-13/kaylyred/b52c80

So, have you ordered anything? Have a wish list? C'mon, hostaholics...I know you're out there just waiting for spring. Thumbs up

I said that I was gonna go "lite" on ordering this year, but now that I see the list I think I may have lied a bit! Only 21 more days 'til spring!

I keep seeing 'Lakeside Paisley Print' everywhere I look lately. I think I'm going to have to track that one down, because it's obviously trying to tell me something.

Here's a photo from In the Country Garden Gifts site.

K,

I hope it's as pretty as it looks! I ordered it from Naylor Creek.

It should be. I picked up 3 of them early last year and will be planting them in a triangle shape to make fuller mound quicker.

Yes they looked great also. Thumbs up

Jeff,

Nice to hear from you! I had to go it alone this year. Didn't see any beautiful pics of yours to put on my wish list! I think I did okay, though!

I hope that the weather is nicer this spring in Washington. Those two guys need a break after last year!

Well I have been following along and hope I take more pics this year and will try and post some. It won't be long now and we will have lots to photograph. I have a good crop of seedlings again and I should start a seedling pic thread.

'Frank Lloyd Wright' would be my top pick of the newest intros for 2011, it will make for a stand out center piece for a garden bed.

Naylor Creek has a very impressive list this year for new plants. It would be hard to pick any bad ones. You have already mentioned 'Lakeside Paisly Print' and I guess if you were to add 10 new ones and counting these 2 in no perticular order I would get.

'Prince of Darkness', 'Smoke Signals', 'Gretchen's Grace', 'Curly Fries', 'Titanium', 'Nippers', 'Atomic Elvis', and 'Star Wars'

But these are just a few of what looks good this year to me.

Have a great spring and Happy St. Patty's Day!

Ooo, cool list! 'Captain's Adventure' is another one I've had my eye on, but it's in very short supply.

Love them all -- of course now they have become part of my wishlist!!
And thanks to you Karen, Captain's Adventure is now on there too!

I have ordered about 20 with these 3 streaked hosta's on the top of the list:

I kept looking at 'Alliteration,' too. I'm a writer by trade, so how could I not like a hosta with a name that references a literary term? Sticking tongue out

It's definitely cool, but I couldn't quite justify the price yet. I'm anxious to hear how it does for you, too, Rose! And, of course, we're going to want photos. Thumbs up

Christine,

Trades are definitely not out of the question!

Kaylyred,

If you're interested in this hosta, check out 'Filagree' or 'Cynthia'. Very similar looking plants. If you're interested in just the name (which I do buy them for the name sometimes!), they don't seem to come down in price on their own hostas.

And, I will definitely be posting pics this year!
