I really want to host an ATP regional gathering/plant swap in June. But at the same time I am nervous. I've never organized something like this. Have there been any ATP gatherings in the past? Anyone have any suggestions?

I envision it at my house (Clinton Township, MI). Anyone from ATP and their friends could come. But I would expect mostly only locals would come (I would drive long distance for something like this but I'm kinda not normal that way). I would have plants to give away. I would provide non alcoholic beverages and some sort of food. I was thinking pot luck lunch. But maybe that would be hard for anyone coming from further away.

If it was early summer it would have to be June 20th. Otherwise I'm booked until very late summer.

Anyone have any thoughts?

We've had a couple in Florida in the last year or two, but I never made it to one yet.

I think @beckygardener organized the last one, and @gingerlily did one up in the Panhandle in 2013.
