These were growing outside of the house I bought and I would like to know their names.

The first green hosta has narrow leaves (not heart-shaped), is glossy, seems to have 5 vein pairs (if you don't count the one going straight down the center, right?):

The second green hosta is heart shaped and larger, NOT glossy, very lightly ruffled around the edges and has 8 vein pairs:

(in the photo, it hadn't opened up all the way yet - sorry

Can anyone help me? Thank you,

The first one is probably Lancifolia and the second one is probably Royal Standard. Both older, but nice hostas. That would be my guess.

I would agree with Diann on the 1st one Lancifolia or maybe that one could be Royal Standard...... But look at the pie crust like edge on the second one, if I am seeing that one correctly... not sure if that would be a Royal Standard with that edge. No idea from me on that one.
