Good for you, Sidney! I hope everything works out to perfection. I wish I were not so far away. I have never been to a round-up.

My first round up, Jeremy ( God rest his soul), drove over to gainesville from Jax., in an old blue van that I never thought would make it back to Jax.
Thats when Lowes was giving him all the plants that they now sell on clearance. I have a rubber tree he brought, or a rubber tree limb looking thing. That tree is thriving in a big pot, and its the first thing I take care of in a freeze.
Its never left me that someone whould do so much for people when they had so little ,,,.. just to share some plants and have a good chat.

Our Master Gardener folks have a plant sale at our Community Market twice each year, and I donate lots of plants. That's about all I have time to do. When the weather finally turns nice and warm, that's when I begin shipping plants in earnest. I have been baby sitting about 40 orchids and various other tropical plants for 1-3 months, all destined for northern tier states. They will all begin to ship out on Monday. I will be as busy as a one-armed wallpaper hanger! I wonder who coined that (sort of) stupid phrase? In today's crazy world, I guess that's not politically correct. Of course, I have never been politically correct.

Well if you ever hung wallpaper you would get the jest of the one arm deal. I always wish I had three arms when I hang wall paper.
Ken, maybe by May 30 you might want to drive down and stay a day or so. I will try to have my
solar pontoon boat on the float by then.
