The hostas are out of the ground now so I thought I'd share a few with you :

This is my favorite 'Gold Standard' - photo taken June 29th

I especially like that Dancing in the Rain - wouldn't mind having that one

This is Hosta undulata 'Albo-Marginata' - it's getting really big, I've had it for over 10 years. It has flower stalks so I'll get flowers this year

Hi Rannveig -- Those are both beautiful plants -- I have both and love both! How's the weather in Iceland this time of year?

It's been mostly in the mid- to high-50's this summer, only a very few days with low 60's. It's been very dry, got some rain today, first decent rain in about a month I think, the garden really needed it

I was so happy to see this one - I thought it'd died. 'Albopicta' Turns out I'd moved it and forgot about it ... looks much happier in it's new spot :-)

Brrrrrrr!!! That's a chilly summer -- even for me in Minnesota!!! Must get REALLY cold in the winter!

That's a nice 'Deja Blu' leaf. Mine doesn't have the lightening. I may need to get another one.

Actually it's above average ;-) The winters are mild, mostly 20-30's, occationally dipping into the teens.

Krossa Regal ~ I just love the soft colour of the leaves. (I took this photo earlier this yr.)

WOW!!! I really like (love) that one Christine, I think I will have to get me one of those.

It's like an albino hosta -- It still is white and I noticed it requires more water!! I wil be babying this one for a bit!

I'm always surprised when I see a mostly white hosta that's actually surviving. I had a couple of mostly white seedlings with the batch of seeds I planted this year and all died from lack of chlorophyll.

This one is fical -- if it doesnt get enough water it gets mad and the leaves crinkle up -- it seems to be okay so far -- I literally water it every other day!

I'll have to try water on Outhouse Delight and a seedling I have from it. Both lose most of their first set of leaves each year. I thought it was just sun.

I certainly enjoy seeing all of the pix. Reminds why I collect these lovely plants! I should just sleep outside by the hose, I water these guys alllllll the time. Of course, it has been in the 90s for over a month with no rain!
