When ever I've ordered sweet potato slips they came bare rooted, but they already had roots.

If they took 2.5 days or more to arrive, I totally believe it! LOL!

I love plants that are so full of life. Much more gratifying than the fickle ones.

Melissa, I sure hope your slips arrive that full of life, too. It sure doesn't seem like they'd have to send soil along with them, when they make roots that easily. If they just wrapped them in paper towels and sent them, you'd think they'd be fine.

The company claims they start sending them April first. Their April fool's trick?? We shall see. I'll post if they ever get here!

Do you know where they are located? There have been parts of the country getting a lot of late snow this year, and most responsible mail order plant dealers don't ship if it's too cold.

Hmm, they call it the Missouri Ozarks "We are 10 minutes from Mansfield, MO, home of the Laura Ingalls Wilder Museum and only 90 minutes from Branson."

I don't really know where that is!

I do know where this is, my home!
