It is an older one but a reliable bloomer. I am glad the little guys like your growing zone. I wish I had luck with MTB's I have to keep them potted to provide partial shade in the worst heat of summer. So far they don't seem to mind.

yes, Michael Paul is much darker than that. It was once THE black SDB until Dark Vader & others came along. Not sure if cherry Garden which has larger flowers than many SDBs.

Lucy, the flowers are larger than any of my other SDBs. I think that is why it is my favorite. I would love to find someone who grows Cherry Garden and send them some of mine for comparison.

There are so many that look alike. Bowl of Cherries is supposed to be 12" which is the same a Boo. This one is taller than my Boo. They are in the same bed.
