I'm just alittle worried about shipping this week. Yesterday it was 101 here. Suppose to cool off to 98 today. This heat wave is a beast and no rain at my house other than an inch in the last 6 weeks. My water bill is out of control. Sigh.

The last two are seedlings of Razor's Edge and War Paint. Something fun to watch.
Check the back of the Superbena tag - a friend re-used a tag. It is Wedding Veil Heuchera, actually.

Wish you had been home so we could meet, too.

How cool is that to be able to drive to your secret swap recipient's home! Too bad you couldn't meet. Mine lives too far away for that, but would be fun to see where the hostas are going.

Deb has a perfectly manicured yard and gardens (I am jealous). I hope to get back and have a tour on a nice cool sunny day. The hostas will have a nice home cause she has tons of room for hostas.

Lelan, Received my package today. Which made my miserable day a little brighter. More on that in a minute. My box was packed full of goodies.
Birchwwod Parky's Gold, Elvis Lives, Lemon Lime, Queen Josephine, Serendipity, Sherbone Swan, Striptease, Toy Soldier and Wide Brim. Thank you so much. Now more about my miserable day. I had to run into work on my day off and as soon as I exited on to 95 I noticed my water gage thingy was way over hot. I called hubby who had me pull over(duh) and the car over heated. Long story longer, hose had cracked and caused my car to over heat. Did I mention it was 101 here today. Many nice people offered to stop and help but hubby came to my rescue. Police officer stopped who just happened to be a mechanic. Showed him how to bypass the cracked hose and we were able to get the car home once it cooled and few gallons of water. Of course when it over heated it shot the spark plugs and wires and zapped what was left on my battery. Now I have a new battery, spark plugs, new hoses to the tune of about $200.00. Yeah me!!! Guess it could have been worse. Now please excuse the fact that I never made it to the post office today. I promise it will go out tomorrow.
So sorry for the delay but we were running around to auto parts stores all day and by the time we finished the post office was closed. Did I mention it still not running great. Still idling rough. Seems there is more work to be done tomorrow but I will mail the package first thing in the morning.
Sorry for rattling on...
Arlene

I received my surprise today from SilkKnoll! I received Fire Opal, Illicit Affair, Little Wonder, Limey Lisa (I'm not really sure because I rubbed the dirt from the tag and also rubbed the writing off!) Again, too heavy handed with another beautiful hosta S--- Surprise. What's the name Robert? And a companion plant Dwarf Pink something! I'm sorry, but I couldn't read the tags after I messed them up! They are all beautiful, whatever they are!

You are definitely the master of packaging! I was shocked when I kept pulling plants out of that little box! And, all of them are in great shape.
