It's a neat thing, but it's missing the third side/leg of the triangle - ISO. And that would look something like this in terms of NOISE:
Thumb of 2015-04-25/evermorelawnless/d278df

This isn't the greatest chart in that more ISO doesn't lead to a darker picture - so see the darkening as noise over the orange rather than the orange darkening itself. But I think you get the point. Higher ISO makes the picture more grainy and buggers it up.

It does have ISO on it - on the bottom of the graphic.

Yes and I think it is a great illustration of noise increasing at higher ISO ratings.

Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing I was scrolling up and down and up and down to make sure I was reading the post right, Asa! I didn't see the responses to your post, so was totally confused. I'm okay now though Thumbs up

Senility stinks. I saw some coffee grounds on the kitchen floor yesterday morning and asked my husband what happened. He said, I didn't dump the coffee grounds, you did!" This was before I had actually drank any coffee, so was not fully awake I guess. Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing

Vickie - it wasn't your fault. The dog did it (even if you don't have a dog).

Around here it's the cat...specifically Moe...

In fact, his nickname might be, "F%#$$@$~ing Moe" for that very reason.

We don't have any pets, but I remember Mom and Dad teasing about a ghost being the culprit at home. I think it's name was Chester, lol!
