Does anyone recognize this as a flower, I planted some mixed seed packets and I don't have a clue as to what several of the plants are.

No, I don't think so. This plant does not have sharp spines.

stone,
Evening Primrose appears to be similar, but what I have read says it is a low growing ground hugging plant, my plant appears to be getting tall. Guess I will wait till it flowers then see if I just need to pull it.

I think this should be a another "final" lesson for me not to plant mixed flower seed packets. I seem to get more weeds out of them than flowers. This is the final "final" lesson maybe, it seems I say this every year.
