Heat-loving eggplant thrives in containers. Take advantage of your sunniest location and use containers to grow eggplant.

What size are the containers you use for eggplants? I would like to try this as I've had no success with eggplant in the ground recently. I'm doing the same for peppers and tomatoes. I'm going to use 10-12 inch diameter pots for peppers and 14-16 for tomatoes.

14 inch pots for the smaller varieties of eggplant where they don't grow that large and 16 inch or bigger for the rest.

One thing with growing eggplants in containers. You need to make sure the pots don't ever dry out. That means watering lots every single day. Let them dry out and those fruits get bitter.
