Melanie, so sorry I am not sure why I get you mixed up with Melissa and she is not even in our adenium forum anymore. I edited my comments to correct your name.
Your name is beautiful! It is just my stupid old age mistake....
Thanks for the rain water updates by the way. We were in Michigan when I read all your updates....glad to be home now and hope to post some photos soon.
Melanie, that Brug is really gorgeous! Not a lot happening in my garden right now; everything is suffering a bit from the heat ... just like me. :smily:
Plumeria has ugly rust but blooming .... Butterfly Pea Vine is fading but still has a few blooms

Hey, what's going on in Florida? I've been visiting my grandkids for a week in Utah, and enjoying the dry air and nights that cool off. But sure can't wait to see my garden at home!
What's in bloom?

There's nothing new in Florida but eight more weeks of hot muggy steamy uncomfortable weather and yeah, my plumeria too are very busy putting on new growth and big leaves; fortunately I see another round of inflos coming...

Ditto that!

So I have this bamboo stake marking where a volunteer Corkystem Passion Vine is coming up. And the anoles have decided they like to perch on it. I usually only have one at a time, but today there were two.

That's a fun shot, Melanie. They really posed for you nicely.
I know I show these every year, but they are one of my favorite easy care flowers. They wait until we get a lot of good rain to really start blooming like crazy, but they will now bloom all the way until November. Heliconia 'Lady Di'

certainly beautiful Elaine. My Heliconia is sulking from transplanting.
Melanie I have those lizards too and I saw some green frogs as well.
My plumeria are not happy wih this much rain so several are not blooming but my other non-plummie plants and orchids are loving it! I will have several Dens in bloom soon. (I trimmed my plumeria to get all the rusty leaves out.)
Lin, that's what I did with my plumeria. I only left the baby leaves with no signs of rust yet. It is still early in he season and am sure all the leaves will come back, especially with all the rains we are getting.
I have a lot more buds on my dens that are not yet open?
Elaine, I like the bromeliads in the tree, too! I need to use more of my vertical space. I have some little bromeliads I want to put in some of my trees, but it's so hot right now. Everything is on hold.
Well, we had a real "frog strangler" yesterday evening and apparently that was literal because I found these two Cuban Frogs taking refuge on the side of the house. You know what I do to Cuban Frogs. My brother said he thinks I violated the Geneva Convention, but I say "All's fair in love and war!" Plus, I want to see green tree frogs again! Haven't seen one in years.
Elaine, I too love the look of the Broms in the crook of the oak tree and hope to do that with mine next year!
By the way ... is that Coral-Creeper (Barleria repens) trailing out from under those Bromeliads? I received that in trade a year or so ago but it's no longer around so it must have bit the dust. I have a couple of photos in the database and I wonder if mine was perhaps 'Rosea' since the blooms were truly pink, rather than red or salmon.
