A long strip was planted with this variety along with its white variety and it made a feast to my eyes. It was in Engelberg, Switzerland, 2009.

Here is a pic of a painted lady on some--sorry the flowers aren't exactly in focus there but you can see the leaves and stature of the plants alright--sortakinda

Thanks. I too do not know its name. I had no idea I'd make a banner out of a picture I took in 2009. Also, since I had only two SD cards of 2GB each, card space was also to be thought of. So what I had done to some of my pictures was to set a lower quality [2560-1920 rather than the 3072...] to accommodate more pictures . As such, quality of such images has been lost. Every thing we see everywhere there in Switzerland is a photo subject!! Such a lovely country and you can imagine how the colours can be in the Alpine season which was not when I went [May]. So this is a small portion of that image... here it is. I've resized it to post it here.
