Sansevieria is a genus of tropical and subtropical plants.
Common names:
Snake Plant
Mother-in-Laws Tongue
Devils tongue

The most commonly kept species is S.trifasciata.

Sansevieria are believed to bring good luck in some cultures.

I have a lot of different varieties since I am lucky to be living near a world authority on Sansevieria, who is always happy to share.

Was that plant started from seed or grown as a morph of another species?

There is no way I can answer that question. He keeps his secrets very close and who can blame him.

I am one of the very few people who know where he lives, and are allowed to visit. His collection is truly amazing, as you would expect from someone who has been growing and researching these plants all his life.
