Thanks all. Dan does not have any available at this time. Shortly after I posted this yesterday, I got an email from a seller who does have it. So I've found a replacement.
Yes, Blazing Saddles does well planted in the ground with plenty of sun. The first in-ground spot I had it planted in, it wouldn't multiply at all. But I moved it to a space where it gets 9-10 hours of sun a day and it now seems to be multiplying well.
I have eyed your Blazing Saddles for a while, Debra, but hesitated with it being evergreen. I just checked its parentage, though. One dormant and 3 sevs in immediate background, seems like that should make for a hardier plant.
