I brought a young elephants foot from the fiends school plant sale. Its for my boss lynne who is looking on cultivation info ad care so she can sell it.
Plantsmylove, There are quite a few with the common name "Elephant's Foot". Scroll down this page in the database to see if you can find the plant you bought: http://garden.org/plants/searc...
~ I'm an old gal who still loves playing in the dirt!
~ Playing in the dirt is my therapy ... and I'm in therapy a lot!
That really must be an awesome school sale!
I've been looking for one of those for atleast 10 years and not even so much as seen one!
You got your voodoo lily there too.
Spectacular!
Care should be pretty easy, though I have no personal experience...
To my knowledge it's just a tough hardy genus of plants!
Lucky you!
Please tree mail me for trades, I'm ALWAYS actively looking for more new plants, and love to trade!
Thanks, yeah a lot had small degrees of rot, and so i picked one of the rot free tubers and then I brought it to Lynne. Lynne is my boss I work at a flower and plant shop. called Your Enchanted florist.
On the downside its "Butt ugly" right now/ cuz I think it may be dormant/ in shock and they do get gigantic. But yeah if it lives it will be a Monster one day.
I have never seen this plant either. I think the friends sale is AWESOME!
Good news its coming out of dormancy and I repotted it into some succulent soil. so it'll grow, also put pebbles on the soil surface and deccerations so it'll hopefully sell. its for $30 if anyone wants it, 1500, dale street, MN.
