Hi, there,
My dog broke the beautiful globe of my globemaster off about one third of the way down the stalk. Will it die as a result? Will it flower again? I just planted it (from a nursery) a few weeks ago. :(

Thank you for any advice you can offer!

My yellow lab does things like that too. My advice is, put the pretty bloom in a vase and enjoy it indoors for the next week or so! The bulb should be just fine. It will flower again next spring, maybe even larger because it didn't have to spend much energy maintaining the bloom! Van Engelen Bulbs and Scheepers carry a wide assortment of allilums, in case you would like to add some more. The bulbs they send are huge and very reasonably priced.
Welcome! to ATP!
