Can you get us a picture?

I'd love to see it, I guess the bulb is already planted...

What size did you order?

Now that I think better, planting it might not be best if it's blooming.
They grow roots and leaf at the same time, usually well after they bloom.
There's only one way to tell and that's to take it out of it pot, or I guess dig down and look for roots.
If there's roots growing from the top of the bulb, the bottom of the spike, then your fine, if it's not got roots then you need to keep it dry or just unpotted.

Forcing amorphs usually just makes them rot, if yours is blooming and not leafing out then you're technically forcing it.

I wouldn't get to worried or anything, it's not in danger yet, but a few weeks of watering it without roots could be bad news!

I'm sure you'll keep us posted.

I'm actually worried about my biggest konjac, he should be up by now, I think I'll dig him out soon and check.
He's bloomed 4 years running and last years bloom was a monster, even tho the bulb was actually a little smaller than the year before.
He might just rest this year, that always worries me...

My room stinks/ staff told me it has to go on the porch, I got fabreeze for the room lol, but at least its out of the rain. I may take a fork and till up the top layer to let the soil dry more, its gotten plenty of water. I looked at the bulb while planting it and it had nubs or rootlets starting to grow from the top the day i transplanted it.

Cool!
If it had nubs from there then you should be just fine

I put it back in my room much to my disgust, but I poked around the soil and it seems like its starting to air out I'll let it dry out somewhat then water lightly.
