This was taken in Shenzen China - wondering if anyone knows it's name?

Thank you!

Opuntia ovata
new Maihueniopsis glomerata I tip my hat to you.
Nopalea cochenillifera When does not have thorns
I do not see whether or not the thorns :-)
o. ficus-indica It has thorns but little, stems articles has a more circular, in the bottom of the wider than ovata, they are almost an ellipse

Wow! Blinking I need to do some traveling now that I am semi-retired. Whistling I never knew that opuntias grew woody stems. Beautiful plant photos, Vic and Lin. Thumbs up

Cacti go woody as they age..corking. Must have been exposed to some varying weather variations too..got cold, too much heat, dehydrated, rained and warmed up. That is a lovely one, has healed itself very nicely.
