Is there a way of sending messages to multiple members?

It is possible because I remember at one time getting a group t-mail but I can't figure out how it's done.

Was it from Dave, Trish, or a administrator?

I don't really remember, it was a long time ago and it might very well have been from an administrator.

I remember that JB once sent a message to multiple people, so it can be done.
Only thing to remember is that if you send your message to ten people, each person who replies will be sending the reply to all ten people in the group.
It could get a bit hectic.

If you click on the envelope icon and start a new Tree-mail I think you enter each name separated by a semi-colon? Is that right?

I just sent a 'test message' to texaskitty111 and plantladylin to see if it works.

Use a comma between usernames to include multiple members.

Do remember to be careful. I received one mass mailing, sent to a dozen or two dozen people.

A week later, I was still getting multiple email alerts per day, as every person said "yes", "thanks", "OK", "Good Idea" what seemed like several times each.

Then a few people carried on chatting, and there is no way to get off such a list once on it, as far as I know. The original poster stopped sending new posts to that list, but every recipient was able to contact the entire list whether they intended to or not.

It got old, fast.

Good info rick. I'm already tired of some threads, but unwatching them doesn't cut them off. Think I will rerfrain.

It would be a wonderful feature if it had an "opt-out" button.

And if the unwatch button worked after you make a post in a thread. Guess we all have to decide if we really really want to say anything
