I plant beans in the shadier area of my garden and they always seem to have the worst problems with insects eating holes in their leaves. How do you deal with them?

Usually Japanese Beetles are my worst problem then I use Sevin when I have to. Going to try regular Dawn water spray this year.
The bean tunnel is in full sun and the beans mostly hang down through the grid.

I think the title should have been "Grow Beans in the Sun, Pick Beans in the Shade". Another great use for the cattle panels.

Ohh. I get it now. Mine are growing on cattle panels, too, but some are in shadier spots than others.
