This is an update of my rock garden (the beginning is 8 posts above three years ago - the photo I have copied here.

Since then I have added many succulents and a pond in the foreground using an old Samsonite luggage port.

Alas, I have not yet been able to get vegetation established in front yet. This is hard work because standing water is much beloved by water birds which swim flap dig eat and toss plants.

river rock are the best addition to any garden! I love the color once it rains!!
