I use Osmocote and bone meal in my mix and don't achieve the size I'm sure I could. Most of my plants are in containers. what do other folks use?

Mark,
My best results are with Quick Start by Miracle Gro. It is made for transplanting but I find that it works wonders on growing seedlings especially. They grow well but are never so lush that they rot.
I give them a shot of this every other week.
Hope that helps!

Thanks for the reminder Kevin! I bought some last year per your recommendation but haven't used it yet.

I just checked and Amazon does sell Quick Start on line too. So no need for long trips to a big box store.
Paddy you might check on Amazon to see if they would deliver to Ireland. As Lynn can tell you, it's like a miracle in the way the plants respond.

I have seen it with my own eyes, it truly is an amazing thing to use on seedlings.

I started using it too. It's only been a week, so nothing dramatic to report...yet.

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort!
