blooming now from a wildflower mix I sowed early this spring. It is small (about 6"), has a tiny white flower, a thin stem, and extremely small leaves as well--in fact, it is hard to tell the leaves are even there! they sort of lie flat against the stem, and aren't really visible in this photo.

Looking at the list of seeds in the wildflower packet, is it possible it's Gypsophila elegans?

thanks!

Your photo is a bit blurry but the bloom does resemble Baby's Breaths (Gypsophila elegans)

thanks, Lin--yes, that is definitely it! Thumbs up It's been difficult to get a good photo because my camera has trouble focusing on tiny blossoms Thumbs down but I'm pretty sure now. Plus it keeps popping up in all the places I sowed the wildflower seeds Big Grin so I know it was something in those packets, and this is the only good candidate.
