Very nice group of blooms Cindy!! My Lighthouse Free Gift had the most beautiful bloom Saturday and I forgot to go get a photo of it!! Today has already rained and more is on the way. Chance of rain again everyday this week. So while the rain made the plants grow well and have lots of scapes, the blooms are having a hard time. We are also cool today so few struggled to open.

Ashton, is the scape tall for you on RGS?? Mine are rather short this year. Also, the throat on yours looks greener than mine. Has to be soil or PH differences.

Claudia, LH Free Gift must be loving all the rain here this year because it is exceptionally nice this year.

It's great to see so many beautiful blooms - even from those northernmost states! My garden has peaked, and the lates are just starting to bloom this week.

Peggy - Double Daffy is a nice little bloom. I got this about 2 years ago from a friend and love it. Have no idea on the seedling if it has a name or not.

Larry - your NOIDs are very pretty! Don't you just love the way the blooms on Fooled Me are almost perfect every time! I rarely see splotches or marks on it.

Ashton - Lowcountry Gem really is a gem of a picture with that frog in it! So awesome! Navajo Pony looks like a nice one to have.

Lisa - Congrats on Womanizer getting runner-up. That stone is very pretty. Heman looks gorgeous! Seeing your picture of Bachscratcher reminds me that I have not seen a bloom on it yet. I will have to go out when I get home from work to see what is going on with it. I hope I haven't lost it!

Cindy - everyone that has Buddy's Betsy seems to rave about it. I may have to put that on my wish list, lol!

Claudia-the northern half of Indiana has really been pounded with rain and flooding. Hope it decides to taper off soon! I love your picture of Westbourne Fireside Chats. That is a nice warm color and the clump pic is nice too. I also love the color of Grand Old Flag... great name!!

Debra-that is an awesome photo of Corolla Light! Of course, all your pictures are beautiful, but there is just something about the dof on this one that I really love Smiling I bought a new Canon Rebel T3i camera last Christmas and am having difficulty getting the dof to look like that.

Vickie - Thanks for the comment about Corolla Light. I have an older Nikon D70 that gets good daylily color, and I use a long lens on it. That's how I'm able to throw the background out of focus.

Flamingo Flambeau is new. It's managing to look pretty good even with a bit of splotch. I'd rather not see splotchy - ever, but I guess that is unreasonable.

Donald, Flamingo is so pretty.

I am so thrilled that my Free Wheelin is doing so well its first year. I could stand and look at it forever. There is a little guest on board who likes it too!!

That helper makes for a nice background for the bloom, actually. Maybe you could just call it a photographer's prop! I see this is a half sibling to Rose F. Kennedy which shows up being used in a lot of attractive seedlings. I hope Green Icon makes as good a parent for producing attractive seedling photos. There are 29 registered half siblings, so it has lots of company. I may have to add this to the wish list which fortunately is staying somewhat static for the time being Smiling .

Free Wheelin is looking good, Karen. I have those little guests everywhere this year. I've never seen so many before. The biggest are smaller than my thumbnail and the smallest ones I've seen aren't much bigger than a pencil eraser. I guess they multiplied with all the rain we've had this year.

Love seeing the frogs in the daylilies. They must really love the smell too! Or maybe it's just the perfect size to sit a spell Green Grin!
