Or me... I've got the white and "red" (really, it's deep pink). Are you going to bring them inside in the winter? I'm pretty sure they're not hardy in 6a.

Now is the time to dig Big Grin

You can get a much broader spectrum from Bill the Bulb Baron... When I bought mine from him, I got the deepest color he had at the time (15 years ago?). He's got much more now.

yep from White Flower Farm with the I. reticulata bulbs. It was new this year; & I think they really were as it was 'Eye Catcher'. It is one of Canadian hybridizer Alan WcWirter's creations 'Eye Catcher'. I can't wait until next spring & no animal better dig!

These amaryllis will be strictly potted plants, they aren't likely to survive the winter outside here.

Lucky, I'm thrilled to hear Eye Catcher is available now! They're doing amazing work with reticulatas.

My reticulatas all disappeared, probably to gophers.. I planted more last year. Well see how many more years they come up. I may have put some of them in baskets, so they might have a fighting chance.

The PNW box arrived today, with also some I'd
ordered from Robin, and a gift from "Mr. Keppel!'
I'm stoked.

Pride and Prejudice ( a gorgeous Graeme Grosvenor that I'd never thought I'd have - thank you Mr. K!)
Legerdemain
Sordid Lives
Strawberry Shake ( needed a "backup" of this favorite)
Oui Madame
Bravery (I think that's what it says)
Whisper Her Name
Mayfair Melody (a clump!)
Star Appeal

Thank you Robin!

Sometimes, the generosity of the iris community just staggers me!

Alan McWirter does lovely work & can be frustrated because the Dutch bulb people don't market the bulbs like their other types.

In 2014 I was very impressed with Sisters, in which I placed 2 orders. This year I placed another order and was very impressed again so I placed a second order. nodding I guess it's starting to be a habit to place two orders per year with Sisters. Robin really is awesome and I can't say enough good things about her!
