Super hardy and loves to multiply. I'm in Alabama with super red chirt clay dirt and where they grow I do not have to weed due to all the pin oak trees we have due their leaves shedding in fall and automatically mulching the IRIS as well as killing out any weeds. However, I do have to pluck out little oak trees several times a year like the one in the pic attached. In the last couple of years I have found that I need to exercise since completing cancer treatments and working with the IRIS has made that alot easier for me since my strength & weight is not where I want it to be yet. Let me know if you would like to swap. Thanks & enjoy each day cause time on this earth is short!
