Alternative to Coir Basket Liners

rosesse: Thanks for sharing this great tip! I once bought a yard of burlap fabric and cut it for use in wire baskets but the black landscape fabric is much more cost effective! I've used the coir many times over the years but it ends up getting messy looking ... especially if the birds and squirrels decide to yank it out! Green Grin!

I am doing wire baskets for the first time, and I used burlap as well. I'll give the landscape fabric a try- thank you for your tip, and you gave a very good explanation, and the photos helped too. Thank You!
