I purchased two pots of hens and chicks (sempervivum) and being really new to gardening and having plants was totally unaware there was more than one variety. Now that I know that I would like to try to get an I.d. on the two I have. Any help is greatly appreciated. Please and thank you.

Thank you for the call out Tiffany.

Renee those are lovely semps, nice and healthy looking. They will have to be NOIDs (No ID). There are thousands of hybrids out there, so if they didn't come with a name we can't give them one.
There are a very few that are easily identified, like S. 'Oddity' or S. 'Fame Monstrose'.

Many of us have much loved NOID semps in our collections. Smiling

Cool pics, Lynn! I would have thought the one on the left was a Crassula, for the first year or so, until it eventually didn't grow a trunk. LOL! Did you hear that sound? Me clicking that plant onto my wish list.

Is that what that sound was. There are so many really different and cool semps. You should browse through the database in your spare time. Big Grin
