Yes! the first ripe ones get eaten out in the garden!
I am having cherry tomatoes out in the garden.
Sunsugar, Orange Zinger and the basket ones ? Tumbler?
(Purchased the basket so don't know which variety.)

Ha, I wanted to be able to post here on the first red tomato thread so I had to wait and get a shot. But I took it inside and actually sliced it with a knife and ate it over the kitchen sink.

Rita you're my garden soulmate. And to think I didn't like tomatoes as a child. Now I'm gobbling them raw and cooked every which way.

It is not even red but it is ripe. This is a Lemon Boy.



I actually picked two of them today. One was really small and totally ripe and I quickly ate it. Boy was it ever good.
