Joy, I would love to know:) I bought it from a local older couple that sell their daylilies without names. He said they kept up with them for years, but decided it was too much, so they removed all their tags. I've asked him for a list of what they had accumulated when they were keeping track, and he's supposed to be finding the list for me. If not, it will just be a pretty NOID. It truly is that color too...no camera tricks.
Give it a while to grow a few more fans and I will send you some.

Regina. That is so nice of you. Thank you. Lovey dubby I'll trade you at the time. I grow many Daylilies and there are always many needing division. Smiling

A name is nice but if I love something, I'll grow it without a name.

I'm interested in double fans, and I like variety... I realize the clumps have grown together a bit so you can't be sure, but hopefully you can do assortments by digging up 25 or 30 clumps, then divvying them up. Once you know how many a box will hold, that should help.

SSG, let me know if you want to split a box... or what colors you're interested in. You know me, pink, purple, cranberry... not so big on orange or peach... I know I can foist a peach DL off on SallyG if need be! We can grow them on for a bit and see what colors they are, then shuffle as needed. Smiling

Thanks for the offer, Jill! I was going to get a box but realized there's *no way* I could use 25 daylilies. I'd be fine with just 4 or 5. Big Grin

I'm not a fan of peach or orange, either, so it's a good thing sallyg is around! Whistling

So, now that I've mentioned that I would love it if you could do double fans, all from different clumps... I have to change gears, because you're my friend... It might be easiest for you to dig up everything and just jumble them all together as you split them, wash them, etc. Offering them 25 at a time (or whatever number turns out to fit in a flat rate box) from a big mixed heap should assure everybody of a good assortment of pretties!

If you do try to keep varieties separated as you dig and get them ready, go to Sam's or Costco and get a bunch of those shallow boxes they always have in abundance... they make good trays for things like this. Smiling

Okay, I'm ready to go. We've had a week of rain, and as long as it holds off I should be good this week.

Please remember that I can not promise colors or types of daylilies. I can't see the blooms and haven't for some time.

Right now I have large flat rate boxes. I can also put tape over the flat rate part to send them regular mail. Those boxes hold about 50, and with 50 in the box, it weighed 12 pounds.

I have ordered some medium boxes, and hopefully they will be here this week.

25 fans should weigh 6 pounds. 50, 12 pounds. to Calculate your shipping cost enter my zip code (45120) and yours here: http://postcalc.usps.com/

The roots will be trimmed and cleaned off. I will do my best to do double fans of 12 varieties plus 1, If anyone prefers single fans... please say so, that shouldn't be hard to try to do.

If you want to mail a check or money order, tree mail me for my address. Checks will have to wait til they clear. My bank charges me 36.00 for a returned check. if that should happen, I expect you to reimburse me that cost.

If you want to use paypal, the cost is the total plus 30 cents, then add 2.9 % my paypal email address is brown352 AT G mail

So, if you would like to order a set, please say so below this post. I'm not going to count anything above this as a firm order. I think I covered everything, and will mail the people who asked me to mail them. Smiling

I'd like 25 double fans, please... I won't get bent out of shape if some end up mixed, but I'm hoping most of the doubles will be of the same variety. If you have a regular box, it'll be cheaper to send them priority mail rather than flat rate. Can you print postage online? That is a pretty significant savings with the latest rate structure.

I'll dmail you about shipping times.

When figuring postage, just choose package, then the 3 day priority mail option. If I get to the post office, and there is a significant difference, I will let you know.

There's a difference between buying postage online and printing it out, vs. paying at the post office... the last time they restructured rates, that difference became pretty significant. For a 6 pound box from you to me, it's $3.55 more if you pay at the post office (and a flat rate box is more yet). Even with the "flat rate" boxes, it's nearly $2 more to pay at the post office. I think PayPal has a way to pay postage right from their site -- that's why it's good to have your address on your paypal account, people can just click and ship when you've paid.

If you're not sure if the weight has gone over 6 pounds, pre-paying online for a 7 pound package is probably still cheaper than paying for either 6 or 7 pounds at the post office. Plus, you don't have to stand in line.

So figure out which way you want to do it... or just calculate the postage and invoice us via treemail. (PayPal has an invoice thingy also, but I don't know how it works from the seller's end.)

I'll try the invoicing if anyone wants me to. Send me your paypal email address.

I'm going to pay at the post office because at my post office they weigh it and check the postage anyway, whether I've printed at home or not. They always have.

Just an update... it seems Ohio has been picked up and moved to Seattle. We NEVER have this much rain, especially in July. I can't dig in the rain. Well, I could, but I'm not fond of hospitals, and I know how slick the shovel is when it's wet and muddy. I'd slice my leg open.

As soon as I can!

If you have date problems next week, please tree mail me and let me know!!!!

Just keeping everyone updated on my progress. We were hit again over the weekend and yesterday with massive rain storms. The daylilies are living in MUD. It's supposed to dry out later this week.... here is hoping!!! Let me know if there are any date conflicts coming up.... Peggy, I sent you treemail and a refund, since I'm not going to get them to you by the 16th.

I will Glo. I'll update everyone again... on the newest, i guess. We had 4 inches of rain last night, and I'm not sure how much tonight, but we had another "gulley washer" as my dad used to call them. There are roads closed all over because they were heaved up with all the rain, and unfortunately, a family in a town over had their mobile home wash out last night. The mother and two children were killed in the flood waters. As I just said to Glo in treemail, I've never seen a summer like this in my life. The weather men are calling for clearing later this week... here's hoping!
