I bought 2 miss molly's this year for Sheri's healing flower bed.

I have had many kinds in the past but the height of these and color
were what I needed for color contrast and size..

I got them from Home Depot on line and I was surprised at how
healthy they were and large and perfect condition when they
arrived in late April..

I ordered before the heat got so high here as I wanted the plants
to not suffer on a UPS truck or in transit..
Good decision...

Here are some photos of my Miss Mollys....

Though butterfly bush attracts butterflies, none of them can host on it. not a single species of butterfly in north america hosts on butterfly bush. Granted many attractive butterfly and moth species host on large trees so that doesn't help you much.

Also home depot has a history of applying pesticides to there prennials before they are sold

In south Florida the Milkweed attracts our Monarchs all summer long. The Milkweed also grows from seedlings, so they pop up throughout the butterfly garden. Add some purslane for bright colors.

This is not true. The common buckeye DOES host on butterfly bush. I know because I had them hosting on it. Even brought a few cats into the house to verify that. Had the cats all over my butterfly bush just munching away on it & then they formed their chrysalis on it AND I watched them eclose.

@Plantsmylove I just wanted to let you know that the problem of neonics being used on plants sold by Lowe's & Home Depot is being handled. Here are some links you can read:

I have a new Blue Chip butterfly bush to plant. Anyone growing those? How large did yours grow? I think it said 3 to 4 ft on the tag. So it should not overtake the area.
