Thanks Cj!
Susan,
It is ligularia, The Rocket. It's almost too hot here in the summer for it, but since I moved it to the back door, it's easy to pour a dishpan of water on it. That and the mulch helps keep it cool.
In the last bed I have yellow helianthus along the back. Too much of it. It was all removed this year and the phlox put back like it was before. A few helianthus were replanted in a different place.
In the Rose Bed are Daylilies mostly in bloom. To my credit, I do still have a few roses in there. Same story for the peony beds, LOL! I have to quit naming the beds for the flowers in them.
The arbor has Asiatic Lilies on the backside.
The Half Moon and Harry Lauder are this and that, with Peonies, Fern Peonies and lilliput Iris in the spring.
The South Peony is Iris and Astilbe in the spring with odds and ends all year.
It took a long time for things to multiply. I would buy plants one at a time to afford many, rather than get a group of three. It finally all paid off and I had color to spread all over that would bloom at the same time. The last few years I've bought very little, but have moved a lot of them around.
