I don't have any problem with Navajo Princess here in southern Michigan in a supposedly 5b/6a zone.

That's right, thanks for reminding me!
Hmmmm.... Last winter was exceptionally cold so maybe I'm getting a little too paranoid. I guess it really wouldn't hurt too much to try! I can't buy her from Keast now, and Harmon Hill doesn't carry her, may have to find a new retailer...

I used to grow Rhodolite Prism in zone 4, a Tet. Navajo Princess kid. Should be pretty inexpensive by now.

For those of you who have Navaho Princess and are in warm areas, do you have any issues with rust? I had been told that it is a rust bucket but it is so beautiful, that I'm begging for good responses!

Now that I see this thread again, I would like to add one more daylily that I think of as a prism daylily, even though its description does not describe it as a prism.

And Guy Pierce has also introduced a few in Fall 2015 and Spring 2016 that have a prism daylily as the pod parent crossed with TET ROSE F. KENNEDY.

I'd be interested to know about Navaho Princess too.

I'm a PIKES PEAK man. It is susceptible to rust if that information is important to you.

Love that Pikes Peak! Too bad that it is susceptible to rust. Thanks for the rust review on that one. Glen, if you haven't already post those photos to the database, please do! And make a comment there about the rust! Thumbs up

There are so many pretty faces that I love, I forget which one is which when it comes to rust susceptibility. It's nice to be able to read any comments in the database about whether it holds it's own against rust! Thank You!
