I would like to find a rose as a gift for a family who just had a baby named Rosa Patricia. I googled and came up with your website and an image of a yellow rose that is being called "Rosa Patricia Kent." Can you give me any history on this rose, and tell me where to purchase one? Also, are you aware of another plant, flower or rose that would have a similar name to commemorate this baby's birth?
Thank you so much for your help.
Sincerely,
Laura Kilmer

Is the family's surname Kent? Do they live in your area?
The botanical name for roses is Rosa, the one you refer to is named "Patricia Kent"; the label would read: Rosa "Patricia Kent".
Or you could look for the rose with the name "Patricia"; the label would read: Rosa Patricia and that looks good to my eyes. (I don't see this one in our ATP database yet.
I see that both are available in the UK; perhaps someone else can let you know a good seller of roses in the US.

One note, if I may. Giving a rose plant is a lovely idea if the family are gardeners who have the ability to care for roses. If the family are not gardeners, they may well kill the plant.

According to helpmefind.com, neither Patricia Kent nor Patricia is available for sale on this continent. Hortico (in Canada) once carried Patricia, but it's not among the current Hortico offerings.

Welcome! Laura!
If it doesn't need to be a Rose there are several other plants in our database with the cultivar name 'Paticia'..

The OP is looking for a plant named 'Rosa Patricia'. I've been looking and can't find anything else with those two words in the correct order. Shrug!
