Is the family's surname Kent? Do they live in your area?
The botanical name for roses is Rosa, the one you refer to is named "Patricia Kent"; the label would read: Rosa "Patricia Kent".
Or you could look for the rose with the name "Patricia"; the label would read: Rosa Patricia and that looks good to my eyes. (I don't see this one in our ATP database yet.
I see that both are available in the UK; perhaps someone else can let you know a good seller of roses in the US.

One note, if I may. Giving a rose plant is a lovely idea if the family are gardeners who have the ability to care for roses. If the family are not gardeners, they may well kill the plant.
