According to The Catalogue of Life, Thevetia peruviana is now a synonym for Yellow Oleander (Cascabela thevetia) The following was taken from the Catalogue of Life page:

Thevetia peruviana (Pers.) K. Schum. Species - synonym for Cascabela thevetia
Thevetia peruviana f. aurantiaca - synonym for Cascabela thevetia

So, data and photos for Yellow Oleander (Cascabela thevetia)
should be moved to the entry for Yellow Oleander (Cascabela thevetia)

Thanks Zuzu ... I never know what's what with plant names anymore so it was a bit confusing when I came across Yellow Oleander now listed as C. thevetia. And geesh, I always preview my posts before hitting send but I must have gone back too far when I hit send earlier because that wording was a mess! I went back and edited my post so that it should make somewhat more sense now if anyone comes along and reads it ... except for the last paragraph with T. peruviana now being replaced by C. thevetia. Green Grin!

The last paragraph only looks strange to you because the system automatically changed one of your links to reflect the current name. Smiling
