Awwwwww.

Boy, that sure looks like a lily I saw at Jo's. When she comes on in the morning maybe she will recognize it.

Yep, such a sweet little girl, just out sniffing the lilies. For the tykes, maybe glycerin soap would be more appropriate than alcohol Smiling , though I haven't tried it. Just remembering some of my chemistry.

Not Strawberry Cream, hers is definitely an OT. I know I saw it somewhere. And most of the lilies I saw this year were at your place, Jo.

seems these bulbs are all messed up.. I have one blooming in the same clump that is a yellow with red in the middle too.
They are lovely but gosh I wish I knew what they were. Now I get to dig & search out for the oddballs in the clumps & plant them in their own little spots. perhaps if I put a ribbon on the oddballs? Blinking Thanks for all the help. I sure do appreciate it!

These are actually trying to lay down with the flowers facing the ground.. I guess next year I will have to stake them ? will that help? what do yall do?

Staking works great for the tall leaning types. Most of all enjoy all the lilies. Names are nice to have, but if you like what you've got, that's great too! Smiling

I do enjoy them very much. My problem is when someone asks me what the name of them is I hate telling them I don't know.. and its hard to order more bulbs of a lily if I dont know the name.

There seems to be a lot of similar lilies on the market, Candy Club being one of them. Its not Candy Club because of the relative amounts of white and yellow. But I would think anyone would be happy with a lily that was quite similar.

I'd be happy with Candy Club ~ it looks to me like it is pink. This one that I have is almost a maroonish color. I also have Anastasia which is the pink with white. Guess I will keep looking to try to find one actually as similar as possible. Thanks for the help.

By Golly!! I just started looking on www.lilies.org. I think I may have found it, if it's not its dang close to Leslie Woodriff.

Leslie Woodriff was going to be my guess too. My LW has no fragrance, how about yours?

I thought Leslie Woodriff at first, but the unknown lily lacks the darker spots and raised papillae of Leslie Woodriff.

Pard, something was looking a little off from LW to me, I bet that was it.

Yep, the devil is in the details... papillae or not, stigma color, pollen color, etc. I have a lily that is the spittin' image of White Henry but it has a purple stigma vs green of W.H.

In the meantime, I'll keep looking. Now it is bugging me, lol!!
