I grow my Lilies in pots each Summer. I would love to be able to keep them from year to year in their pots. But I don't know how you would do that. Do I keep them planted in their pots and just store them in my shed? Can anyone help with this one ?
It will prevent me from having to purchase new Lily bulbs every year.

I do that and keep each variety packed in a bag of peat moss, then stored in a box, packed tightly.I closed the box up and after frost sets in, I wrap the box up in a towel and place it in my attached garage until early spring when I take them out and repot them up. I've done that now for several years with success. Your zone is warmer, so I would think that would work. Or storing in a refrigerator crisper drawer, you'd just have less room for food.

Ok, thanks. So you have to un-pot the bulbs in order to store them I would assume. Ok. I don't want to discard them. It's to expensive to buy new bulbs every year. Thanks for the information !

I take each one out of the pot and repack in peat moss in individual bags with the lily name labeled on each bag.
