New Zealand and its white sport Full Sail are richly fragrant. Full Sail is more vigorous in my garden. Pink Peace smells good also.....

Westerland is another I've considered for a long time, I adore orange roses. Glad to see it does so well in a colder zone, and that it is fragrant!

I keep trying to figure out where I'd put a climber so I can get it....

Meredith, it's not a large climber, so perhaps an obelisk type trellis would work.

It likes to climb, but it's officially classified as a shrub, so you can keep it pruned to about 5-6 feet and not bother with a trellis. If you do let it climb, make sure you train the canes into the desired position early. They quickly become thick and unwieldy.

Oh this is good news! It gives me more options as to where to plant one!

The same is true of Westerland's sport, Autumn Sunset. I have three of them -- two climbers and one shorter shrub. It does give you more placement options.

I love Autumn Sunset and Westerland so much that I bought the new 'Above All' this year. It's a lovely shade of orange.

Meredith, I don't know! When it starts blooming again, I will sniff and make a note of it!
