I have many iris that are re-bloomers, but have yet to have any of them truly re-bloom. I think that we are still very warm in the fall, so that may discourage the re-bloom. This summer we have been hot and short of rain, so it is hard to keep them watered. Though, Zurbrigg lived in Durham and certainly got his creations to re-bloom.
The only re-bloom I ever got was from newly planted Again and Again. Planted early September and bloomed in November - sort of. It was a chimera with 2 falls and tiny standards. Looked a bit like a Japanese iris.
