Found this volunteer in a part sun area, near my wisteria. It's pretty. Does anyone recognize it? Hoping it's a keeper! nodding

It looks like Phlox, which species I can't say as there's a lot of them. Have you grown any Phlox?

thanks, Janet. I was thinking the same thing--that it looks like phlox. Confused

ah, I just checked my 'no longer have' list of plants, and there is one phlox in the list right now:
'paparazzi sparkling blue'
and--that's it!!
I had forgotten I had that cultivar there last year, and hadn't seen it all this year so assumed it was gone! *Blush* Whistling

thank you!! Thank You! good to know it has returned after all!! Thumbs up

This type of lower growing Phlox doesn't tend to last for long or they dwindle, a pity as they are very pretty.

yes, it is an interesting one--not exactly like either p. subulata or p. paniculata... I had totally forgotten it had those little blue flecks around the center!!

well, I knew there was a reason I was keeping a list of plants I 'used' to have! Hilarious! Whistling

Thanks, Jolana! I think it's due to my lackadaisical style of gardening which I justify to myself as 'cottage gardening'! Hilarious! Whistling
