Every time I open All Things Plants, as I navigate about the site, I get notices that Internet Explorer is shutting down and I have the option of trying to find the problem (it can never find it if chosen as an open) or to close the program (that involves going right out of Internet Explorer). I've been going to the X at the top of the notice and cancelling it. I then get the message "A problem with this webpage caused Internet Explorer to close and reopen the tab." This happens sometimes 2 and 3 times in a row one after another and other times just once and then later again, and again and again, etc. Since starting in All Things Plants, this problem has occurred while working in other Explorer sites but rarely compared to in ATP. It never happened before ATP. I have Windows 8.1 and am using Google (not Google Chrome). Does anyone else have these issues?

Internet Explorer is a dinosaur. I would recommend switching to Google Chrome or Firefox.

On my laptop I kept Internet Explorer, Opera and Chrome. Mostly I used the Chrome.
The other day I upgrades to Windows 10 and poof!! Internet Explorer is gone; replaced by Microsoft Edge.
Chrome is still my favorite but tons of people prefer Firefox.
Hope this helps. Thumbs up

I'm one of those people who prefer Firefox, but mostly because that's what I'm used to. If you're going to acquaint yourself with a new browser, Chrome seems to be a bit faster.

thanks to all of you. I've used Firefox in the past and will try that again. Don't know if I'm ready to upgrade to Windows 10 yet. Want to hear more about it.

(I will whisper this very quietly...It might be good to wait and see what others say bout Windows 10; since upgrading I find that I am making use of some 4-letter words I haven't spoken aloud in many years. Kind of like this Angry Grumbling Crying *Blush* )

I came across a lot of those same whispers when I was looking around for a way to avoid Windows 10 and get the "pre-upgrade" junk off my computer. grrr...
