@jmorth took the best picture ever of all those Red Admirals on Purple Coneflower 'Magnus'. Still one of my favorite pictures on the entire internet. What a joy that must have been to see. Coneflowers are an amazing nectar plant for butterflies. Unfortunately, I seem to do nothing but kill them down here in Central Florida.

You're not alone, Melanie. I love the pic of the butterflies on Magnus, too. And I also killed every Echinacea I've planted. No . . . I think we can give the summer weather a bit of the credit for the murders.
