Hi Folks:

New guy here from SoCal. I was hoping to get some help identifying a couple of plants that I ran across while vacationing in Big Bear CA. We had done some hikes up on the north side of the lake and ran across a couple of plants with some beautiful flowers. Any idea what these are? Sorry, the photos aren't the greatest. Thanks for the help!

Paul

Could the bottom one be some kind of rabbit brush?

Excellent, thanks for the help. I've started combing through some of the online retailers for these as they were really pretty ... much better than my photos ... LOL
