I have no idea what this one is. I really liked the colors and pattern.

I am not even sure it is still in my garden. If it is, I need to figure out which clump it is (might have a little idea, there were 2 clumps that didn't bloom this year in the area where I photographed this one a few years back.

Any ideas??

If the reddish color is really more red orange and if its a later bloomer i would say Frans Hals. I have 2 clumps of it blooming under a small maple tree in my back yard. Always blooms for me and very showy in a mass.

Maybe Royal Jester? Mine is still blooming here in zone 5.

Ok, so I was going back through pots in my garage and found one with a label on it for Frans Hals. Smiling I am 99% sure that is what this is/was. Now to see if I may be able to convince it to bloom next year (if it is the non-blooming clump that I think it is).

My clumps are well established and always bloom profusely for me. I am sure with a little tlc and good site you will have the same success. It really is nice showy cultivar considering its from 1955. I will probably always grow it and it looks so great under my 5 year maple tree that has not provided much shade as of yet.
