8 years later LBB still struggles in my garden, it has increased to several fans, not many blooms, many are not very pretty.

This will be LBB's 13th year in my garden and it has been a slow grower. Some days I am disappointed in the spotty blooms or shape, but when it does well, it is awesome. I've not seen rust on it. Most daylilies that say they are rebloomers do not rebloom for me and LBB is no different. It usually blooms mid-June thru mid-July.

6/19/2021 - I don't have any pictures showing branching other than this. It is mostly 2-way branching with maybe 10-12 buds.

A really bad petal day.


But then some are not so bad.


Some are lighter.


And some are very saturated. This picture was taken at 6am, so it is an EMO. Just look at all that wonderful pollen, lol!


Just a few more pics from 2021. It must have been a very good year for LBB.

2023…still no sign of Lavender Blue Baby…it's been years now! It is sitting at four fans now, SURELY it will deign to bloom next year!
