it's getting huge!! And I don't know what it is. At this point it is well over 4x as large as it was in this picture.


When you try to pull on a branch, it is very strange... It pulls apart in joints. Any ideas what it is?
If it grows, I can kill it.

Sad to say, it looks like Variegated Japanese Knotweed (Reynoutria japonica 'Variegata')

Yep. That's it. Which is why it spreads underground like crazy and pops up all over the flower garden. Next year I'll annihilate it for good... Roundup!
If it grows, I can kill it.
